Rules
Playing time is 2 x 15 minutes running and time is stopped only when goals or penalty
shots are made. In playoffs the last minute is effective time.
Each team plays at least 4 games.
NB! F1-BOYS 2012 4+1 players (field size 24 m x 12 m - 30 m x 15 m)
Tournament organizers have the right to make 2 Series (Hobby/Competition) if there is more than16 teams in one age group.
After the Group games, the additional games are played based on the standings.
The tournament is played according to IFF rules with some exceptions that apply.
The competition programme and rankings that determine placement
The rounds are divided into subgroups according to age, and teams are assigned into
these subgroups. Advancing to additional games and their schedule is put in place after
the opening rounds according to the standings. The standings are ranked according to
the point scores. A win gives 2 points, a tie 1 point. Losses give no points. When point
scores are tied, the following is considered in ranking teams:
1. When teams have equal point scores, the points they got in games against each
other will be considered.
2. The total number of goals (+/-) scored by each team with an equal score.
3. The number of goals scored in games played against each other.
4. The difference (+/-) in goals scored in all opening round games.
5. All goals scored in the opening round.
6. Lottery.
There is no overtime in games, except in medal games, where each team has the
possibility of getting one 30 second overtime, if the time allowed is not enough.
In the additional games, which should determine the winner, three players will throw
penalty shots in case of a tie. If the teams are still in a tie after the shots, single players
will throw penalty shots. The same player may take a shot only after all the other players
in the game have taken a turn.
One player can only represent one team in one tournament. Any exceptions must be agreed be four the tournament in writing kristjan@tallinkfloorball.ee
In all rounds, the teams can use a maximum of two players from an older age group per
game.
More players from the older age group are allowed on the team list, however, only two
can be used per game. These players info have to be sent in writing be four the tournament to kristjan@tallinkfloorball.ee. The team has to give the tournament organisers lists of all the players and
officials for a team 2 weeks before the start of the tournament. The list has to also
have information about the role of the team member in the team. This requirement also
applies to officials. Any additions to the list later are allowed only with the permission of
the head of the tournament.
All team members are required to buy a tournament pass. If there are team members
without passes, the team will automatically have a 5-0 loss entered, or if the result is
better for the opposite team, the result still stands.
JURY
The tournament jury has to guarantee the smooth organisation of the tournament
and adherence to rules. If rules are breached or there is unsuitable behaviour by
teams or individuals, the jury has the right to remove a team or an individual from
the tournament. The jury’s competence also extends to incidents that may arise in
accommodation quarters. The team is also responsible for the correct behaviour of their
supporters.
RESPONSIBLE PERSON
The team has to choose one person who is at least 18 years of age to be the person
responsible for the actions of the team during the tournament. The responsible person
has to be available to be contacted by the organisers at all times, and he or she has to
forward any and all information that may influence the final score of the competition.
PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION
The responsible person is also responsible for making sure that the team member’s
identifications can be confirmed. If needed, the tournament organisers have the right to
identify team members with the help of the responsible person. If the player’s identity
remains unconfirmed, the same sanctions apply as in the case of players without passes.
INSURANCE
The tournament organiser does not insure the participants in case of damages.
Therefore, the teams are responsible for organising their own insurance. Also, each team
is responsible for their own first aid supplies. The tournament organiser will, however,
make sure that there are people present who are trained in giving first aid, who can help
if injuries occur.
PROTEST CLAIMS
The teams have the right to issue protest claims on topics that are related to game rules.
If a claim has to do with a judge’s decision or action, the protest has to be issued to the
judge right after the end of the game. The protest and the reasoning for it have to be
submitted in writing and within 10 minutes after the end of the game. The protest fee is
100 €. If the protest claim is satisfied, the fee will be returned. If the protest is rejected,
the fee is not returned. The decision of the jury is final.
FORFEITING/DISQUALIFICATION
If a team is not all present according to the rules of the game 5 minutes after the official
starting time, the game is considered a forfeit. The forfeiting team is issued a 0-5 loss as
the result. If the same situation arises in the next games, the team is disqualified from
the tournament.
